My work has been
a memory construction of a lost childhood, a translation
of my deepest inner necessaries. It is an adult
struggle to piece together images, shadows, and
forms of my most hidden memories. My work is made
to express, not explain, the child of long ago.
It is me confronting those hidden memories and trying
to finally break free to sing my song for me and
anyone else who cares to listen. |
